Election Day at Freedom High School

I’ve been voting in Loudoun County for nearly 20 years and it was nice to drive less then 5 minutes to Freedom to cast our votes. As we often do we took some of the kids along. Dustin and Colin joined us and posed in front of all the signs.

Do all of those signs make any sense? Do they think any vote will be cast based on a sign in front of the polling station? If only it were that easy….

Cross Country Team News

The Cross Country team continued to improve over last season as it sent a handful of runners to Regionals held in Winchester VA last week.

The varsity girls team won a spot at Regionals by coming in 3rd place overall at Districts held the week before in Leesburg VA.

 

Kevin Coakley represented the boys team at Regionals. He won a spot at Regionals by placing in the top 15 at Districts the week before.

The unofficial Freedom High School website is born

After concluding neither of our 2 sons at Freedom High School was going to take this long overdue project and run with it I’ve decided to bring it to life.

I reserved the domain ‘FreedomHS.com’ several years ago with grandiose visions of it becoming the ultimate school website using the latest and greatest software and technology available. Well… I’ve lowered the bar a bit and am merely trying to help build a useful resource for the Freedom High School family.

I’m open to ideas, content, feedback, and whatever else you want to contribute to the cause.
